EDPB Launches GDPR Enforcement Action
The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has launched a coordinated enforcement action (CEF) focusing on transparency and information obligations under the GDPR. The CEF will involve multiple national data protection authorities across the EU investigating how organizations inform individuals about their data processing activities. The action aims to ensure organizations provide clear and accessible information to citizens regarding their rights under the GDPR. The results of the enforcement action will be published later this year.
