EIB Invests €500M in Italian Biorefinery
The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Eni have signed a €500 million loan agreement to support the conversion of Eni's refinery in Sannazzaro de’ Burgondi, Italy, into a biorefinery. The 15-year loan will finance the adaptation of existing units to produce biofuels from sustainably sourced feedstock.
