Dutch and Romanian authorities, with support from Eurojust, have recovered three pieces of historic Romanian art stolen from the Dutch Drents Museum. A joint investigation team was established at Eurojust to facilitate cooperation between the two countries. The successful recovery highlights the importance of cross-border collaboration in combating art crime and protecting cultural heritage. Investigations are ongoing to identify and prosecute those responsible for the theft.
