EIB Invests in European Biodiversity
The European Investment Bank (EIB) Group is providing a €60 million guarantee to Sienna Investment Managers to increase financing for biodiversity projects in Europe. The initiative aims to support investments that protect and restore ecosystems across the continent. The EIB’s support is facilitated by the InvestEU programme. This guarantee should help to attract further private investment in the area of biodiversity. The support falls under the EIB's broader commitment to environmental sustainability and the EU Green Deal.
