EIB Finances Renewable Energy in Sicily

The European Investment Bank (EIB) and Societe Generale have provided €153 million in financing for the Sand Solar project in Sicily, Italy. This funding will support the construction and operation of a 137 MW photovoltaic plant, significantly boosting renewable energy capacity.
