ECDC Pilots Mobile App for Disease Surveillance
The European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), in partnership with Africa CDC and HISP SA, is piloting a mobile application for event-based surveillance. This initiative aims to enhance the early detection and rapid response to public health threats by improving data collection and information sharing. The pilot project will help strengthen preparedness and response capabilities for infectious disease outbreaks, benefitting public health systems across participating regions.
