African Swine Fever Outbreaks Rise in EU
The European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) reported a significant increase in African Swine Fever (ASF) outbreaks across the EU in 2025, affecting both domestic pigs and wild boar. Outbreaks in domestic pigs rose by 76% and in wild boar by 44% compared to 2024.
