OLAF Busts Counterfeit Truck Parts Ring in Portugal
The European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF) has assisted Portuguese authorities in dismantling a trade in counterfeit truck parts, seizing goods worth hundreds of thousands of euros. OLAF stated that these counterfeit components posed a serious safety risk to road users across the EU. The operation targeted the import of fake goods into the single market, protecting both consumers and legitimate businesses.
