EU Body Pushes Ambitious Circular Economy Act

The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) has presented an influential opinion on the future Circular Economy Act to the European Commission. The EESC, which represents EU civil society, is advocating for a comprehensive legislative framework to boost recycling, reuse, and sustainable product design. The opinion was delivered to Commission Executive Vice-President Teresa Ribera for consideration in future legislative proposals.
