EIB Backs Green Hydrogen Fertiliser Plant in Paraguay
The European Investment Bank (EIB), via EIB Global, will provide up to USD 95 million to support the development of ATOME’s Villeta Green H₂ Fertiliser Plant in Paraguay. This project aims to produce green hydrogen-based fertilizer, reducing reliance on traditional, carbon-intensive methods. It showcases the EU's commitment to promoting sustainable agriculture and clean energy technologies globally. The investment aims to contribute to food security and environmental sustainability.
