EESC: Sharpen EU Strategic Foresight
The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) has urged the EU to enhance its strategic foresight capabilities. The EESC emphasizes the need for the EU to anticipate and prepare for disruptive futures to remain competitive globally. The Committee suggests the EU develop more robust mechanisms for horizon scanning and risk assessment. The EESC opinion will feed into the European Commission's strategic planning process.
