EU Body Sets Priorities for 2027 Work Programme
The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) has adopted its resolution on the Commission’s 2027 work programme. The EESC, which represents civil society organisations, is urging the Commission to prioritise competitiveness, resilience, and sustainability. This input is intended to shape the EU's strategic agenda for the coming years, focusing on strengthening the single market and ensuring a just transition. The European Commission will consider this and other institutional input when drafting its official work programme.
