Global "Operation Endgame" Disrupts Malware Networks
Europol has announced a massive international cybercrime takedown, dubbed "Operation Endgame," which has disrupted several major malware networks like SocGholish and StealC. These networks were used by criminals to deploy ransomware and steal data from millions of victims worldwide. The operation involved coordinated actions across multiple countries, leading to arrests, infrastructure takedowns, and the seizure of criminal assets. Europol states this is a landmark blow against the cybercrime-as-a-service ecosystem and that actions will continue.
