EU Coordinates Sky ECC Crime Probes in Western Balkans
The EU's judicial cooperation agency, Eurojust, is stepping up coordination for investigations linked to the encrypted communication network Sky ECC. The new initiative, "Operation Flying Bride," will focus on cross-border cases between France and several Western Balkan countries. Authorities use data from the dismantled network to prosecute serious organised crime groups involved in drug trafficking and other illicit activities. This enhanced cooperation aims to accelerate prosecutions and dismantle criminal networks operating across Europe.
