EU Nations Reinforce Commitment to Ukraine Accountability
On the fourth anniversary of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Eurojust and authorities from seven member states and Ukraine reaffirmed their commitment to ensuring accountability for international crimes. The collaborative effort involves the Joint Investigation Team (JIT), which collects and preserves evidence of war crimes and crimes against humanity. Eurojust provides the infrastructure for information exchange and judicial coordination among national prosecutors. This long-term initiative aims to bring perpetrators to justice in international or national courts.
