EBA Sets Reporting Standards for 3rd-Country Branches

The European Banking Authority (EBA) has published its final report on draft Implementing Technical Standards (ITS) regarding supervisory reporting for third-country branches under the Capital Requirements Regulation. These harmonized reporting standards aim to enhance oversight of these branches and ensure a consistent approach across the EU. The new standards will improve the ability of supervisors to monitor risks and maintain financial stability. The ITS will be implemented following endorsement by the European Commission.
