JIT Focuses on Illegal Transfer of Ukrainian Children
The Joint Investigation Team (JIT) established at Eurojust to investigate core international crimes committed in Ukraine has extended its mandate by two years, adding a focus on the illegal transfer of Ukrainian children. Authorities from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, and Ukraine are participating in the JIT. This extension allows for continued and enhanced cooperation in gathering evidence and prosecuting those responsible for war crimes and other atrocities.
