Albania & Colombia Form Joint Teams Against Trafficking
The authorities of Albania and the Attorney General’s Office of Colombia have established two joint investigation teams (JITs) with the support of Eurojust. These JITs are designed to facilitate investigations into human trafficking. This significant cross-border cooperation aims to dismantle criminal networks and enhance judicial collaboration to protect victims. For EU citizens, such efforts contribute to the broader fight against organised crime affecting Europe's borders and internal security.
