New medicine for pulmonary fibrosis recommended
The European Medicines Agency (EMA) has recommended granting a marketing authorisation in the EU for Jascayd (nerandomilast). This new medicine is recommended to treat adults with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis (IPF) or other types of pulmonary fibrosis. This recommendation from the EMA brings hope for patients suffering from these severe lung conditions across the EU, making a new treatment option potentially available soon.
