The proposal aims to create a more proportionate framework for these banks when they submit data to the Pillar 3 Data Hub. By reducing the administrative burden, the EBA hopes to lower compliance costs for smaller banks, which play a crucial role in local economies. The authority is now gathering feedback from stakeholders on the proposed changes.
