EIB & ESA Launch First-Ever Fund for Aerospace SMEs
The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the European Space Agency (ESA) have partnered with Intesa Sanpaolo in Italy to launch Europe's first-ever agreement to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the aerospace sector. This initiative aims to bolster the competitiveness of the aerospace supply chain, a strategic industry for the EU. The agreement will provide tailored financing and expertise to help smaller companies innovate and grow. This model could be replicated in other EU countries to strengthen key industrial ecosystems.
