Europol and Frontex Deepen Cooperation on Border Security

The EU's law enforcement agency, Europol, and its border and coast guard agency, Frontex, have signed a new Working Arrangement to enhance their cooperation. This updated agreement replaces a 2015 version and reflects the expanded mandates both agencies have recently received. The framework aims to improve information sharing and joint operational capacity for tackling cross-border crime and managing the EU's external borders. The collaboration is designed to create a more integrated and effective response to security challenges.
